General Questions

How does the WaterGenie™ work?

The WaterGenie™ connects to your home’s water supply or existing water filter. It uses a refillable CO2 tank to carbonate water on demand, providing sparkling water at the push of a button. You can also choose chilled still or ambient water.

What are the installation requirements?

To install WaterGenie™, you need access to a water supply or water filter, a standard power outlet, and space for a CO2 tank. It comes with all the necessary fittings for easy setup, and the process usually takes about an hour. You can watch a user installation video here  for the detailed setup steps. 

Can I use my own CO2 tank?

Yes, the WaterGenie™ is compatible with large, refillable CO2 tanks. Most users will use a 5 or 10 lb tank, depending on how much space is available in your area. This feature ensures low maintenance and fewer replacements compared to smaller tanks.

Do I need to hire a plumber to install it?

You may choose to install the WaterGenie yourself but we recommend hiring a local plumber if you don't feel comfortable with any of the setup steps. 
How long does a CO2 tank last?
The lifespan of a CO2 tank depends on your usage, but on average, a 5 lb refillable tank can provide sparkling water for 3-5 months of regular use.
Is the water always cold?
The WaterGenie™ offers three water dispensing options: sparkling water, chilled still water, and ambient temperature water. You can choose your preferred option with the push of a button and the cold temperature is adjustable. 
Can the WaterGenie™ be used with filtered water?
Yes! WaterGenie™ is designed to work with your most existing water filtration systems, and they are recommended for better taste and longevity of the machine. We do not recommend tankless RO systems. 
Does the WaterGenie™ require regular maintenance?
The WaterGenie™ is low maintenance. You’ll need to replace the CO2 tank periodically, and it’s recommended to clean the water lines and unit as part of routine care. 
Where can I buy and refill CO2 tanks?
CO2 tanks can be purchased from us or various retailers, both online and in-store. You can search your local area for an Airgas or welding supply store where they offer tank exchanges. 
Is the WaterGenie™ eco-friendly?
Absolutely. By eliminating the need for single-use plastic bottles, the WaterGenie™ significantly reduces plastic waste. Using refillable CO2 tanks further enhances its eco-friendly design.
What should I do if the carbonation level seems low?
If your sparkling water is less fizzy than usual, check if the CO2 tank is low and needs replacing. Ensure all connections are secure, and that the CO2 pressure regulator is open and set to about 60 PSI, making sure not to exceed 75 PSI. 

If you still experience low carbonation, please contact us and we will be glad to troubleshoot with uou. 
What is the warranty on the WaterGenie™?
The WaterGenie™ comes with a 1-year limited warranty. This covers any manufacturing defects or issues related to normal use. 
Can the WaterGenie™ be used outdoors?
The WaterGenie™ is primarily designed for indoor use. However, it can be used in outdoor spaces like garages or patios, as long as it’s connected to a water supply, power outlet, and protected from extreme weather elements.

General Questions

What is your return policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, so we accept returns on all items within 30 days of the purchase date. The buyer pays for return shipping, or we can provide you with a return label an deduct the cost from your refund. How do I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your order on our website or on the carrier's website.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
We try to process orders as quickly as possible, but if you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate your request.
Do you have a physical store?
Currently, we do not have a physical store. However, we do offer free shipping to make ordering as convenient as possible. 

Order status & history

Tracking an Order
You can track the status of your order online. Click on Track Order at the top of the page to see your Recent Orders. Click on the order number for the shipment that you would like to track, and a detailed order information page will be displayed. A tracking number is located to the right of the ship-to address and under the shipping method. Click on this number to view detailed tracking information. You can review the tracking history and the estimated date of delivery. Please estimate 1 - 3 business days from the time your order has shipped.
Order Statuses:
Order Submitted - "Placed" Once you have placed your order on Sephora and your credit card has been authorized, your order status will appear as "Placed."
Order Processing - "In Progress"
Once you have placed your order, it will be sent to our warehouse to be processed and packed for shipment. During this time, your order status will appear as "In Progress." Please allow 1 - 2 business days for the order to be processed and prepared for shipment.
Order Delivery - "Shipped"
Once we have assigned a tracking number to your order, and it has left our warehouse, the order status will appear as "Shipped."
Order Delivery - "Partially Shipped"
If your order will arrive in multiple shipments, once one of those shipments has left our warehouse, the order status will appear as "Partially Shipped."
Order Returned - "Returned"
It takes up to 2 weeks to process a return and credit your credit card account. Once your order has been returned and processed, the order status will show "Returned." We will notify you via email once your return has been processed.

Canceling or Modifying an Order

Before you place your order, you can view the contents and the total amount in your shopping basket. Once your order is placed, it cannot be modified. If you would like to cancel your order, most orders can be canceled up to an hour after being placed. To check the status of an order, check the Order Details page.

Partially Canceled Orders

If an item in your order is out of stock after your order has been placed, the out of stock item will be canceled from your order, and you will receive notification via email. All in-stock items in your order will be shipped.
