Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need filtered water?
A: Filtered water is recommended for improved taste and to prevent scale buildup within the system. A traditional RO filter is ideal but not required. A pressure reducing valve is provided if not connecting to an RO filter.

Q: How long does a CO₂ tank last?
A: Tank life depends on usage and carbonation level. Most users get approximately 6 months of use from a 10 lb tank.

Q: Can I install this myself?
A: Yes! Most customers complete installation in about an hour using basic tools. Professional installation is optional, especially if drilling a new hole in your countertop.

Q: Will this fit my sink?
A: The system is designed to fit most standard U.S. under-sink cabinets. Please confirm your measurements before installation.

Q: Can I use my own faucet?
A: Yes! While we offer a dual-handle faucet, some users prefer to select their own to match their home aesthetic. Our systems are compatible with any side beverage faucet that connects to a 1/4" push-connect line.

Q: What’s included in the box?
A: WaterGenie™ Under-Sink Unit, faucet, tubing & hardware, user manual. CO₂ tank and CO₂ regulator sold separately.

Q: Where can I download the User Manual?
A: You can download the full User Manual here → WaterGenie™ User Manual
